XSite Pro is an amazing site builder/generator.
It is so simple to use that a total
beginner can be making sites in less
than an hour, yet it is designed for
marketing professionals. I can't begin
to do it justice but here are just
some of the features:
(1) Built in SEO advice for every
page. I rebuilt a small site with
XSite Pro and it went from 100 visitors
a month to 5000 visitors the next
month.
(2) Click anywhere on the WYSIWYG
page to include adsense blocks of
any color or shape (it remembers your
number) or ANY snippet of code such
as RSS feeds, counter code, flash
etc.
(3) It remembers all your affiliate
links so you can reuse them. It will
use a cloaked redirect for affiliate
links.
(4) Popup or fly in windows if you
really want to use them.
(5) Great WYSIWYG editor but you still
have full access to code.
(6) FTP's your site to the server
and will only upload changed pages
next time.
(7) Designed for "projects"
which can be clusters of similar linked
minisites.
(8) It creates a sitemap and an optional
Google sitemap
Black Hat Uses
XSite pro can be used as a site generator:
Pick a page to be a landing page,
import a keyword list and bang, 100
or 1000 new keyword pages "hidden
behind" the original. These will
show on the sitemap but not on the
navigation bar. (Tip: Then hide the
sitemap. I put a link to the sitemap
on each page footer but it is only
a grey on white "." Your
site will look perfectly white hat)
Visitors coming in by those pages
will think they have arrived at a
normal website.
Each generated page can be unique
by using tokens. Ie:
The following tokenized sentence
Welcome to the {%WEBSITETITLE%}. Here
you will find lots of information
on {%WEBSITEKEYWORDS1%}, {%WEBSITEKEYWORDS2%}
and {%WEBSITEKEYWORDS3%}.
would be displayed as
Welcome to the Holidays in Europe.
Here you will find lots of information
on European Holidays, Vacations in
Europe and Holidays in France.
You can tokanize both the pages themselves
and the meta description by this method.
By using an outside program like RSS
content builder you can have random
amounts of random content automatically
added to every keyword page.
But wait, there's more...
XSite Pro can take a huge file (like
a book) and automatically break it
up into many pages with "previous
page/next page" navigation and
adsense blocks on every page.
And more yet...
Download a truckload of articles from
(say) contentdesk.com XSite Pro can
import them all at once and create
an article library with navigation
and yes, adsense on every article
page.
To sum up, this is a program that
can make a generated BH site so cleverly
that it will actually be a WH site!
Ok, folks. I'll spell out what to
do to make a huge "grey hat"
site in an hour or two.
First, forget the idea of "templates".
XSitePro makes a fixed width page
with either 1, 2 or 3 columns. Take
your choice.
If you want a pretty header or footer
graphic, just make one the right width
and snap it into place with one click.
If you want quick and dirty, just
make the header area (say) yellow
and put writing on it.
You can make the column backgrounds
different colors if you want or have
a background image.
Now, make a few normal pages. Home,
Articles, Special Offers, About Us,
Links. Whatever you like. You want
the site to look perfectly white and
it will be. Stick in a few pictures.
Hang some pretty curtains.
Articles: Download a truckload of
articles on the subject you have chosen.
(Tip: If you download them in html
then the links back to the author's
site will be live. If you get them
as text, then they won't)
Make a page called "Articles".
Write some blurb at the top and snap
in the code snippet that will make
a bulleted list of all the articles
using the first 200 or so characters
as an introduction.
Now go to the Import Pages Wizard.
Mark "show on sitemap" but
not on navigation bar. You can choose
to add html or code at the top, bottom
and or middle of all generated pages.
I used this to add an adsense block
top and bottom and a Affiliate Sensor
block (with pictures) in the middle.
Navigate to the folder where you
have saved your articles and whack.
You now have a bunch of articles with
navigation and ads and a table of
contents. Neat eh?
How about a whole book? Download
a non-copyright book from somewhere.
Make a page and call it whatever you
want.
Import the book to the page and tell
XSite Pro to break it into pages.
How many? How long is the book?
You now have hundreds of pages all
with previous/next navigation and
lots of lovely content.
I haven't been able to put adsense
on those pages automatically, but
never mind. You can just put an adsense
tower in the right hand page column.
At this point you could have a freakin'
humongous site with 100 articles and
a 600 page book. And its all white
hat.
Keywords Now here is where we start
to get black.
Pick a page (or several if you want)
to be "landing pages" Write
what you want on it and stick in an
adsense block.
Go back to the import wizard.
Copy what you have written on your
original page and paste it into the
"template" for the new pages.
Use tokens to make the meta description
different for each page.
Use tokens to make the blurb on the
page different each time
Perhaps add an RSS feed at the bottom
of the template page. RSS Content
Builder can make it so each page will
have a random number of newsfeeds.
(More lovely content)
Import your keyword list and shazam!
1000 keyword pages.
But here is the kicker... They are
all the SAME page as far as the site
visitor can tell. He thinks he has
arrived at a perfectly normal site.
(Make the pages show on the site map
but not the navigation bar)
Ok, so you now have a site with 100
articles, a 600 page book and 1000
keyword pages. Good for you!
One last tip. That sucker will take
forever to upload! Publish it locally,
zip it and upload it in one hit.
Eat your heart out James Martell.
(By the way, if you have read this
then you have to pay me $200 I want
to be a rich guru too.)
Oh, speaking of James Martell, XSite
Pro has a feature called "projects"
so you can quickly whip up clusters
of interconnected sites.
But what chubby boy takes weeks and
months to hand craft you can do in
hours or days.
Snap affiliate links all over your
sites, get backlinks from your dozens
of blogs and try your hand at guestbook
spamming.
You too can be a White Hat and make
"quality" sites. Doesn't
that thought make you feel better?
