There have been quite a few questions
lately about how black hats make money.
A common misunderstanding is that
it's similar to white hat techniques.
I.E. You create a site, coddle it,
love it, add content and tweak (stuff)
your keywords, hide your text, etc.
ad nauseum.
Well folks, I'm here to tell you that
what black hat is really about is
TRAFFIC and lots of it. But how to
get that traffic you ask?
Ahhh...that's where the secrets of
black hat seo come out. You see, it's
all about bottom fishing. Bottom fishing
is going to the bottom of the barrel
looking for the keywords that are
only going to score 10,20, maybe 500
hits a month.
But you don't stop there! Oh no! You
create thousands and thousands of
pages each one optimized for a specific
keyword. Now, on the surface you're
probably saying - big deal. But look
at the math for a moment.
Let's say that you have 100,000 pages
up - an easy goal with any content
generation software
available. Let's say that you only
get traffic on 10% of your pages each
day and only one unique visitor per
page.
You're suddenly getting 10,000 unique
visitors per day. At an average of
10 cents a click through Adsense,
you could be making $100 per day...And
that's on the low end. My clicks are
averaging around 20 cents and up to
35,000 unique visitors per day!
It's all about VOLUME VOLUME VOLUME!
Get it up, get it indexed, move on
to the next site. There are other
strategies of course but this is the
basics of Black Hat Search Engine
Optimization.
There is a discussion about cloaking
going on in the black
hat forum
